Tainan Dalpra began training at the age of 5 years old in Florianopolis, Brazil. At the age of 14, he moved from Brazil to Costa Mesa, California to began training at the Art of Jiu Jitsu and learn from Professor Gui Mendes. Tainan had an amazing career in the colored belts, collecting four world titles and being labeled by the media as a future star in the sport.
In October of 2020, Tainan received the black belt from Professor Gui on the podium after a dominant performance at Pan Ams. He won his first black belt world title in 2021 at the age of 20 and his second in 2022 after incredible performances that ranked him as the pound-for-pound #1 ranked grappler of the season.
